I know it’s been a while, but there are some exciting things going on here at the clinic that I wanted to share. We are pleased to announce that massage will now be offered as a service at Hyde Park Wellness, as we welcome Rachel Bailey, LMT to our team of practitioners. Rachel has been licensed as a massage therapist in Texas for over 15 years now and she brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience. Rachel graduated from the New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts in 1997 with a dual certification in massage and polarity therapy. Her post-graduate work took her to Thailand where she spent time learning the art of traditional Thai massage. The primary modalities that Rachel incorporates into her treatments include deep tissue work, myofascial release technique, traditional Thai massage, acupressure and abdominal and scalp massage. I can speak from personal experience when I say that Rachel’s massages are quite effective in treating issues like back pain, shoulder knots, headaches, foot pain and sciatica. If you have specific musculoskeletal aches, pains or issues, please call us to get on Rachel’s schedule – I know it’s going to fill up fast!
In other exciting news, we have been working with lead web developer and designer, Ira Henderson of Ira Henderson Design on several upgrades to the Hyde Park Wellness website. In the spirit of engaging more with our patients and the public we have updated our “Contact & Location” page so that you can ask us questions about your health and the services we provide. We have similarly updated “Tama’s Blog” so that you can leave comments or suggestions for the post you’re reading. Got something to say? We’d love to hear from you! You can also see what people are saying about Hyde Park Wellness on our “Testimonials” page – maybe after visiting the office you’ll be inspired to write one of your own.
One final thing: as many of you know, we partnered with Living Social last year to offer a discounted, new patient acupuncture deal. This offer was a huge success and it was great to see all those new faces coming through the door. This is why I’m extremely happy to announce that, coming this fall, we will be partnering with Living Social once again in an effort to introduce even more people to the healing benefits of acupuncture, herbal medicine and nutrition counseling. Be sure to sign up with Living Social to make sure you receive the offer in your email!
As always, thanks for reading and stay well.
